Director of Paid Search or Associate Director of Paid Search

Our fully remote (with the option for office space in our downtown Washington, DC HQ) digital advertising agency is looking for a director or associate director of paid search to join our team. In this role, you’ll work across client accounts to plan, implement, track and optimize paid search campaigns.

Job Responsibilities (Both Levels):

  • Manage ROAS/ROI-driven campaigns on Amazon Ads, Google, Bing and additional ecommerce platforms as necessary. Specific tasks to be performed including:
    • ad copywriting
    • campaign & ad group building
    • keyword and automated bidding strategies
    • regular optimization and reporting
  • Oversee projects across multiple client teams

The following qualifications are strongly preferred:

Associate Director of Paid Search

  • 3+ years SEM experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing) or Amazon Ads
  • Experience owning/managing sizeable ad budgets (e.g. >$250k/mo+)

Director of Paid Search

  • 4+ years SEM experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing) or Amazon Ads
  • Experience owning/managing sizeable ad budgets (e.g. >$350k/mo+)

Both Levels:

  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications
  • Amazon DSP Certification
  • Experience setting up conversion events, pixels and/or robust Google Analytics integrations.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Looker Studio, and/or SearchAds360 a plus
  • Data analysis experience (Excel PivotTables, statistical/regression analysis experience, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc)

Location

This position is remote within Continental United States (a small number of location exclusions apply). We also have an office in Washington DC if you’d like to use it. The office exists as a benefit for those who want it – we do not force anybody (including DC based employees) to work a minimum number of office days per week.

Compensation

Associate Director of Paid Search

Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills. Our compensation assumption (base + annual bonus based on company and individual performance) is $90k-125k

Director of Paid Search

Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills. Our compensation assumption (base + annual bonus based on company and individual performance) is $100k-150k
