Our fully remote (with the option for office space in our downtown Washington, DC HQ) digital advertising agency is looking for a paid search specialist (or senior paid search specialist) to join our team. In this role, you’ll work across client accounts to plan, implement, track and optimize paid search campaigns. This role will report to the Director of Search.
Paid Search Specialist or Senior Paid Search Specialist
Job Responsibilities (Both Levels):
- Manage ROAS/ROI-driven campaigns on Amazon Ads, Google, Bing and additional ecommerce platforms as necessary. Specific tasks to be performed including:
- ad copywriting
- campaign & ad group building
- keyword and automated bidding strategies
- regular optimization and reporting
- Oversee projects across multiple client teams
The following qualifications are strongly preferred:
Paid Search Specialist
- 1+ years SEM experience in Amazon Ads specifically
- Experience owning/managing sizeable ad budgets (e.g. >$50k/mo+)
Senior Paid Search Specialist
- 2+ years SEM experience in Amazon Ads specifically
- Experience owning/managing sizeable ad budgets (e.g. >$100k/mo+)
Both Levels:
- Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications
- Amazon DSP Certification
- Experience setting up conversion events, pixels and/or robust Google Analytics integrations.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Looker Studio, and/or SearchAds360 a plus
- Data analysis experience (Excel PivotTables, statistical/regression analysis experience, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc)
Minimum Qualifications
Paid Search Specialist
2+ years of experience in a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) ad buying & campaign management role across Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads and particularly Amazon Ads.
Senior Paid Search Specialist
3+ years of experience in a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) ad buying & campaign management role across Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads and particularly Amazon Ads

This position is remote within Continental United States (a small number of location exclusions apply), or offers in-office or partial week schedules in Washington, DC.
Compensation
Paid Search Specialist
Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills. Our compensation assumption (base + annual bonus based on company and individual performance) is $70k-$100k.
Senior Paid Search Specialist
Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills. Our compensation assumption (base + annual bonus based on company and individual performance) is $80k-$111k.
